在学中はウィメンズのデザインを学び、現在はメンズのクリエイティブ・ディレクターを務めています。
14年間Louis Vuitton（ルイ・ヴィトン）メンズウェアのテキスタイルコンサルタントを担い、
2015年に自身の名を冠したブランドを立ち上げたEdward Crutchley（エドワード・クラッチリー）。
現在もLouis Vuittonでの業務を手がける傍ら、過去にはKanye West（カニエ・ウエスト）や現Givenchy（ジバンシィ）のクリエイティブ・ディレクター、Clare Waight Keller（クレア・ワイト・ケラー）ともコラボレーションを果たしてきました。
自身のブランドでも、経験を生かした多種なテキスタイルを使用し、“West meets East”をテーマに、東洋と西洋の融合を試みる。現在もLouis Vuitton、Richard Nicoll（リチャード・ニコル）、Jevoni（ジェボーニ）などでコンサルタント業を担い、年間16コレクションという膨大な量をこなしています。
